Vienna Day 3

I am writing this from the lobby of Hotel Mozart, our new hotel where we have moved to meet our Intrepid group. We had an introductory meeting and then went to supper together. There are 6 couples including us,two from the States, two from Australia, one from New Zealand and us. And we are not the oldest, well almost!

We left our hostel around midday and took the U-Bahn out to this area which is north of the city centre. Some of you have asked what type of places we stay in so before I left I took a couple of pictures of the hostel for you to see.

How about a shower in your bedroom?

Me waiting for the train
Breakfast from the market...blackberries and peaches

We spent the day downtown strolling around watching the crowds of people that were around,it being Saturday a lot of locals as well as tourists were out and about. We also visited a part of the Imperial Palace which was amazing to see how the imperial family once lived. And of course who can forget a great fish lunch with Pinot Grigo

  1. Ummmm, pesto. I'm glad it's not all pictures of buildings. More food please.
